Leadership
Coaching is the opportunity for on-the-job leadership
development and learning created from a unique partnership
of client and coach. This partnership supports development
and provides learning opportunities in areas of
empowerment, achievement, strength-building, value
clarity, and, for some, traditional leadership practices
such as working with the whole person and creating
lasting respect.
Through the client-coach partnership, the client
will learn how to leverage these new skills to grow
and develop their leadership, the organization’s
staff effectiveness, and improve the services provided
to their communities. A leader will be paired with
a leadership coach to work together on a short term
basis to achieve specific, mutually agreed upon
goals.
Specific on-the-job development and learning is
based on customized coaching designed for each individual
using proactive discussions, actions, and tools
aimed at helping the client accomplish their coaching
goals. Examples of goals previous clients have chosen
are as follows:

Establish and maintain respect and traditional
leadership values
• Review leadership styles and implement
various ways to motivate and lead others
• Build and reinforce managerial processes,
policies, and programs
• Recognize and address issues in healthy,
productive ways before they arise or shortly after
they occur

The
leadership coach acts as a partner, guide, and resource
provider by bringing specific tools, exercises,
resources, and techniques to the partnership. These
resources, identified for each individual and their
organizational circumstances, provide opportunities
to expand capabilities, maximize potential, meet
goals, guide the organization, and create wellness
in their communities.

Inter-Organizational
Communications
Communication within and throughout an organization
is key to staff knowledge, productivity, camaraderie,
and morale. This customizable workshop can improve
your skills in effective writing techniques, meeting
planning and facilitation, and/or designing and
implementing inter-office communication vehicles
such as newsletters or intranet services.
Team-Building

Resolution
Resolving interoffice conflict occurs when the outcome
is a win-win solution for all involved. How do we
get to a win-win solution: listen, understand each
other’s needs and/or work styles, and provide
solutions and opportunities to meet those needs
and styles. This customizable workshop can address
each area in-depth and/or cover the full process
of conflict resolution.
Management
Reflection - Leader as Coach Practices and Values
Respectful, welcoming, patient – working and
cultivating an environment which views the workplace
and staff as an interconnected, holistic body is
the goal of this workshop. Highly interactive, we
explore leader as coach models and how to incorporate
them into your management practices.
Strategic
Planning – Creating a Plan for Your Organization
(non-profit only)
Setting the ongoing course for your organization
is critical to its long term success. Strategic
planning involves looking at the big picture, understanding
the organization’s strengths, weaknesses,
opportunities, and challenges, and setting goals
to move the organization forward. Strategic planning
also involves creating a sustainable planning process
which this workshop provides.

Are you a new organization or one changing significant
direction? Are you an organization who’s been
around for a long time and simply want to think
broadly or differently about the future? This is
the purpose of this workshop – to provide
you the space and process to think broadly and differently
in creating a vision for the organization’s

We all need periodic refreshers when we become Board
Members. This customizable workshop helps educate
and remind Board members of their roles and the
responsibilities in the following areas: Governance,

well. This workshop is designed to help your organization

marketing campaign and recruitment process from
writing the job ad to interviewing tips to follow-up

Policy Training (non-profit only)
- Fiscal policies are critical for sustaining an
organization. This workshop will help you to understand
what policies and procedures are necessary for your
organization’s daily operations and provide
tools to develop your own operations manual. A must
for Finance and Executive Directors.
Budget
Planning 101(non-profit only)
- Creating a “picture” of your organization’s
future will guide the development of the organization.
This workshop is targeted for Finance staff and
will create a system for preparing an organizational
budget and managing on-going monitoring in order
to provide real-time reports to Board, Directors
